Abstract

The distal radius is a rare location for primary or metastatic bone tumors. Reconstruction of this bone after en bloc resection is a daunting challenge. Herein, we present three cases of distal radius resection due to bone tumors, with replacement of the resected bone using a fibular graft, and long-term follow-up. Moreover, we made a critical analysis of the reported complications after treatment. We hope this article and our comments will be helpful to surgeons who work in this area.
